Born in Macon to the late Drewie and Lenora Brown, Mrs. Hamilton was a long time member of Byron Baptist Church and held secretarial positions in several local businesses. She also enjoyed volunteering as a Peach Lady at Peach Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her daughters, Pam Carver (Bennie) and Deena Youngblood (Stanley); nine grandchildren; fourteen greatgrandchildren; several great greatgrandchildren; and a sister, Louise Pollard (Gene). She is preceded in death by her husband, Dan Hamilton; daughter and son in law, Patty and Hank Harvard; son, Darren Hamilton; and a granddaughter, Michelle Wallace.
