Lori McCain, age 56, passed away Saturday after a sudden illness.

Born in Bangor, Maine, she had moved to Waco in 1979 with her family.

Lori was a 1982 graduate of Waco High School and had earned her Associate’s Degree from McLennan Community College. She worked as a graphic designer for KWTX in Waco and WKOK in San Antonio and had worked for a number of years as a pharmacy tech for Walmart in Waco. She retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield AIL in Waco. Lori had attended the Eagles Eye Bible Fellowship.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald M Slyter, Sr, and Carolyn Ann (Bewley) Slyter.

Lori is survived by her daughter, Miranda Colon of Waco and two grandchildren, Jaymes Colon and Everly Colon; and two sisters and a brother; Veronica and Gregory Jones of Waco, TX; Heather & David Jeanes of College Station, TX; and Ronald M, II and Rene Slyter of Waco, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel with Reverend Johnny Curry officiating.
