Patrick Carroll an honored resident of Florence, died at his home in that place Wednesday morning last of general debility aged 81 years. In the death of Mr. Carroll, Florence loses an old and respected pioneer he having resided there for nearly half a century. He is survived by a widow, five sons and two daughters. Funeral services were held at St. Rose's Church in this city this Friday morning, Rev. Father McNamee of St. Patrick's Church celebrating mass. Burial in the Catholic cemetery in this place.
