Joseph Yancey Richardson unexpectedly passed away at the age of 40 on Friday, December 18, 2020, after a long battle with diabetes. He was born on January 15, 1980, in Nashville, TN, to Davina Richardson and Yancey Pardue. After moving to Toledo, he attended Clay & Northview High Schools class of 1998.

Joe enjoyed horror movies, comic books and reading; he had a vast variety of books. Music played an important role in his life. He spent many hours listening to music and actually composing songs.

Joe’s greatest joy was his family whom he cherished, especially his grandmother, Shirley Richardson, with whom he lived
and to whom he was very close.

Joe is preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Richardson, and cousin, Chenoa Poupard. He is survived by his daughters, Angel and Adriana Richardson; mother, Davina Lee; sister, Jena Youtzy; brother, Jared (Piper) Youtzy; grandmother, Shirley Richardson; uncles, Robert (Kim) Richardson and Wade Richardson; aunt, Gena (Dave) Nagel; as well as numerous cousins and other family members.

Services will be private.
