He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a molder for Gartland Foundry for 38 years. He was the best dad in the world to his children, he took care of his family. He enjoyed fishing, and watching football, especially the Indianapolis Colts.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, a sister, and a grandson Michael Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Susie Sharp (m.1962), sons, Ronald Jr. and Frank E. Sharp (CJ), a daughter, Vicki Jones (Herbie), 3 brothers, and 3 sisters, grandkids, Robbie Jones, Herbie Jones, Brian Sharp, Ronny Sharp, and Samantha Hicks, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services for Ronald will be Tuesday December 22, 2020 at 1 pm in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Visitation will be 11 am until service time at the funeral home on Tuesday. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery.
