Adelle M. MiniMay 29, 1919-Apr. 17, 2014Resident Of Los GatosAdelle M. Mini passed away after a valiant battle for life. She touched many lives and was known for her generosity and her love of her faith and family.Adelle was born in Chicago, Illinois to Patrick and Adelle Nohelty. She graduated from the Chicago Teachers College. She taught school in Chicago and Tucson, Arizona before marrying her late Husband Theodore Mini Jr. of Los Gatos at Saints Peter and Paul Church, Tucson, Arizona. The marriage was witnessed by The Most Rev. Francis Green, late Bishop of Tucson. She was a teacher and a vice principal at Saint Mary's School in Los Gatos. She was a life time member of YLI (Young Ladies Institute), Our Lady of Los Gatos/Saratoga and was 3 times their president.She was preceded in death by her only child Mary Lou Mini and her sisters Josephine Rife and identical twin Edith Lyons DeChaine. She is survived by her nephew Rev. John P. Lyons of Tucson, her nieces Patty Beissel (Richard) of Phoenix and Catherine "Kaydel" Casper of Tucson. She is also survived by her great Niece Catherine McWhorter (Brooke) and her great nephews John (Kristen) and Richard (Jill) Beissel, Jeffery Casper (Keri). She is also survived by her Great Great Nephews Casey Casper and Declan McWhorter.The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Mary's Church, 219 Bean Avenue, Los Gatos on May 14, 2014 at 10 am. Memorials may be made in Adelle's memory to Saint Mary's School, Los Gatos.
