Son of A David Montgomery and Reba Panter Montgomery. He was a retired computer programmer from Napa Genuine Auto Parts. He served as a minister at Gospel Assembly in Jasper, GA. He also played the trumpet for many years and recently the bass for Sunday services. He and his wife did evangelistic work for many years. He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Rita Beard Montgomery; sister, Joy Renee Presley; nephew, James (Jennifer) Presley; and niece, Tisha Hayhurst.
