Glenn was born in Glendale, California and he was the son of the late Doris Swaggerty Thompson and Reverend A. G. Thompson. His younger sister, Faye Murphy, his grandparents on both sides, aunts, uncles and cousins also preceded him in death.
Glenn enjoyed playing golf and traveling. He was raised in a Christian home. He loved the Lord and his close friends deeply. Glenn was a member of the Westmore Church of God.
Survivors include his loving sister, Jeanne Beavers and her husband Sam of Cleveland, his step daughters, Rebecca and Kimberly his step granddaughter, Abby, his former wife and friend, Janice Thompson and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The Remembrance of Life Graveside Service will be conducted at a later time for family and friends. The Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
