Thomas R. “Uncle Tom” Freeman, age 68, former of Millcreek passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Pleasant Ridge Manor.

He was born in Conneaut, OH on July 15, 1952, a son of Howard Freeman of Millcreek and the late Eileen R. Wygant Freeman.

While Tom was growing up, he was active in the Boy Scouts and also was known as “Tom the Kid” on the HAM Radio in his younger days.

Tom graduated from McDowell High School, and he also worked there in maintenance department for many years.

He owned and operated “Tom Uncle’s Antique” for over 35 years. Tom enjoyed working for Tim Rocco Auctioneer. He was an Antique collector. He loved his family, going to flea markets, camping, and talking to people.

In addition to his mom, he is preceded in death by a sister Gail Stewart.

In addition to his dad, Tom is survived by two sons, Mathew Freeman (Hallie) and Mark Freeman (Heather) both of Erie; three brothers, James (Theresa) Freeman, of Millcreek, Robert (Dawn) Freeman of Virginia Beach, VA and William (Lori) Freeman of Cambridge Springs, PA; three grandchildren, Ryley Brown; Emma Freeman, Preston Cessan; one great grandson Nolan Brown; and many nieces and nephews..

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Funeral Home West Ridge, 3801 West 26th Street, (at Powell Avenue,) on Monday from 11am until the time of service at 1pm. with Rev. Daryl Grimes officiating. Burial to follow in Albion Cemetery.

All CDC guidelines will be followed.
