Not present at the Company reorganization and was reduced to the ranks. Rejoined the command 10/1/62. Slightly wounded in the arm at Chickamauga 9/19/63. Transferred to Co. A of Voorhies 48th TN Inf Regt in exchange for B.F. Roundtree. Surrendered and took the oath of allegiance at Nashville,Tn 5/5/65.
