Elaine V. Farley, 88, Hibbing, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, in the University Medical Center-Mesabi in Hibbing. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Nov. 9, 1918, to Reuben and Florence (Catern) Simpson Jr.
She was a homemaker, wife and mother.
Elaine is survived by her son, Lynn (Carol) Farley; daughter, Elaine Irene (Steve) Lifgren; brother, Arthur K. Simpson; grandchildren: Kimberly (John) Magina, Robert (Sally) Farley, Karin (Greg) Day, Edward Frank (Denise) Jordan III , and Christine (Brian) O'Neill; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Farley, in 2001; her parents; and a sister-in-law, Julia Simpson.
