Geneva was a member of the Shawnee Church of God in Flatwoods. She enjoyed her church and church family, especially her friends in the ladies group. She and her late husband Dwight wintered in Florida for more than 25 years making many friends over the years. She was also a loving homemaker for her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Pamela Stamper and husband Jim of Ashland, her son Dwight A. Smith, III and wife Gale of Baton Rouge, LA, her sister Joyce Franklin and husband Johnny of Louisville, KY, her grandchildren Andrew LeBlanc, Chrisy Selder, 6 great grandchildren, a very special niece Joy Scarberry Childers and a host of extended family and friends.
A private burial will take place at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East.
The family will be having a memorial service at the Shawnee Church of God at a later date.
