Actress. Her career as an actress spanned from 1933 until her retirement in 1951. Her early career was marked by her role as 'Dale Arden' in the "Flash Gordon" science fiction motion picture serials opposite of Buster Crabbe, who starred in the title role. She began to appear in feature films in the mid-1930s, most notably as 'Joan Allen" in 1940s "Vivba Cisco Kid" opposite Cesar Romero, and as 'Lucy Gilbert" in the 1943 motion picture "A Stranger in Town" opposite Frank Morgan. After disputes about her salary with the various motion picture studios, she left acting, and lived quietly away from Hollywood life until her passing in 1991.
