Stan is survived by the love of his life Carol L. Cranfield, daughter; Lecia (Tim) Miller, son; Scott (Michelle) Ward, step-daughters; Angie (Steve) Knight, Amey Saucier and Amanda Cranfield, sisters Sue (Joe) Griffith, Alicia (Brian) Craig, Cathy (Dan) Wendorff, brothers “twin” Steven (Connie) Ward, Phil (Debbie) Ward, Mark (Heather) Ward, grandchildren; Lacey Garland, Shelby Jaynes, David Jaynes Jr, Skylar Ward, Brookelen Ward, step-grandchildren; Jacob, Brendan, Morgan, Tyler, Mackenzie and Jordan, 5 Great Grandchildren; Xander, Xayden, Elayna, Dexton and Miara.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Stan was a member of West Newton United Methodist Church where he was a Pastor Parish Chairperson and Chairman of their Response Team.
Stan took great pride in tending his garden, rose bushes and many plants and flowers.
He enjoyed tinkering with his 1931 Model A Ford and his 1955 Pontiac. Stan was an avid golfer and enjoyed keeping record of his weekly outings with his twin brother Steve.
There will be a graveside service for family and close friends on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 11:00 am at West Newton Cemetery in West Newton, IN. Officiating will be Pastor Anne Gatts.
There will be a Celebration of Life that will be planned in the spring at West Newton UMC.
