Michael Antonio "Landman" Land, Sr., 36, of 114 Woodlawn Avenue, Union, SC passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020. A native of Union County, SC, he was the son of Mary Lee Land (Jackie) Gist of Union, SC and the late Michael Leon Byrd. He was the owner and operator of No Stress Lawn Care Service. He was a 2002 graduate of Union County High School and attended Wingate University. He was a big fan of the Atlanta Falcons Football team. His love for youth and sports made him a well loved coach in football and baseball with the Union County Recreation League. Michael was preceded in death by his father and his maternal grandfather, Leroy "Tom" Land. He is survived his parents; one son, Michael Land, Jr., of Union, SC; two sisters, Keyla Land (Channing) Smith of Boiling Springs, SC and Yasma Davis of Union, SC; his maternal grandmother, Rebecca Simpson Land of Union, SC; and a host of nieces, nephewaunts, uncles, cousins loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at 518 Hart Street, Union, SC and 303 S. Boyce Street, Union, SC. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2020 at the Union County Stadium.
