"RUSSELL EVERETT BONNEVILLE, 84, of 21 Villas Drive near Christiana, died Tuesday in St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington, where he was a patient.
Mr. Bonneville was a minister for the Church of God for about 30 years. He also was a construction worker for Magness Construction Co., retiring in 1979.
He was a member of Living Waters Church of God, Newark, and taught Sunday school at Calvary Assembly of God, Brandywine Hundred, for many years.
Born and raised in Crisfield, Md., he was pastor at churched in Pennsylvania for several years before moving to Delaware in 1955.
He is survived by his wife, E. Virginia; a son, Russell E. Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Rebecca B. Swann of Wilmington; and a grandson.
A service will be held at noon Tuesday at McCrery Memorial Chapel, Kirkwood Highway and Duncan Road, where family and friends may call after 11 a.m.. Burial will be in Silverbrook Memorial Park, Lancaster Avenue and Du Pont Road.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Operation Blessing, 700 CBN Center, Virginia Beach, Va., 23463-00."
