Son of J. J. BIGHAM or BINGHAM.

Burial entry in the sexton's ledger book shows: a child of J. J. BIGHAM (sic) was stillborn in Georgia and was buried 11 DEC 1890 in Pauper Ground as a resident of Columbus, Georgia (so probably born/died there). The sexton was Abraham ODOM.

Daniel Olds' index of deaths, AUG 1890 to DEC 1918, from the Muscogee County Death Register, on file with the Muscogee County Health Department's Office of Vital Records, shows: A. P. BINGHAM (sic), "White" male, died aged 1 year on 10 DEC 1890 [on this list, age 1 year could be anything between age 0 and 2 years].

R. L. Polk and Company's 1888 city directory for Columbus, Georgia, p. 77, shows:
BIGHAM, James, farmer, resides at 1913 Second Avenue

Sholes' 1891-92 city directory for Columbus, Georgia, p. 67, shows:
BIGHAM, James, carpenter, resides at 1801 Robinson Street
[no BINGHAM listing for 1888 or 1891-92]

This grave is evidently not identifiably marked. Indigent burials were scattered throughout the cemetery, not concentrated in a particular part.
