Calvin L. Alexander, 58, of Birmingham, AL formerly of Phenix City, AL died Saturday, December 5, 2020 in Birmingham, AL.

Funeral service will be 12 noon EST, Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Patrick T. Brown, officiating. The service will be live streamed via Taylor Funeral Home Facebook page. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens, Phenix City, AL. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 1-5 p.m. EST.

Calvin was born June 25, 1962 to Clarence and Christine Alexander. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Calvin was employed as Lead Medical Technologist in Point of Care Testing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital where he worked for over 35 years. He was also employed part-time, at Brookwood Baptist Medical Hospital for over ten years.

To cherish his memory, Calvin leaves behind his parents, Clarence and Christine Alexander of Phenix City, Al., brother, Michael Alexander (Stephanie) of Phenix City, Al., brother, Victor Alexander (Adrienne) of Birmingham, Al., brother, Timothy Alexander (Loleta) of Helena, Al; uncles and aunts, Robert (Katie) Lyles, Phenix City, AL, Catherine (Fletcher) Pinkard, Roanoke, AL, Juliette Goshay, Phenix City, AL, Masie (Milton) Taylor, Smiths Station, AL, Juanita (Johnnie S.) Taylor, Smiths Station, AL and Christine Lyles, Phenix City, AL; five nieces; three nephews, and a host of cousins.
