Edcouch – Jack Nicholas Chavez, 32, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. He was born April 2, 1988 to Gilbert Chavez and Leticia Davila in Weslaco. Jack was raised by his grandmother, Maria Elida Davila. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Garcia; son, Daylan Cuellar; daughters, Debra Salamantes, and Alizea Villa; his parents, Gilbert Chavez and Leticia Davila; and his grandmother who raised him, Maria Elida Davila. Jack is also survived by his brothers, Ramon Ortiz, Joshua Ortiz, Miguel Ortiz, Ismael Ortiz, and Adam Ortiz; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Viewing will be Friday, December 18, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Graveside Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Valle De La Paz Cemetery in Hargill.
