Mrs. Brenda Evans Ward, age 79 of Winston, Georgia passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020. She was born September 13, 1941 in Trion, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Frank Evans and the late Mrs. Nellie Rose Brewster Evans. Mrs. Ward loved her family especially her grandchildren, going to church, quilting and cooking. Mrs. Ward was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy of Douglasville.
Mrs. Ward is survived by her husband of 63 years, Mr. Bernon “Pete” Ward of Winston; daughters and sons-in-laws, Pamela Bryant and the late Carlton Bryant of Winston, Georgia, Julie and Bruce Laird of Villa Rica, Georgia, Tracy and Terry Ayers of Winton, Georgia, Penny Smith of Winston, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Melinda Ward of Winston, Georgia; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 12:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville with Bro. Larry Lowery and Bro. James Green officiating. Interment will follow at Cole Springs Cemetery in Winston.
