Mr. Argus Ralph McKamie, 78 of Prescott, Arkansas passed away, Friday, February 17, 2012 at his home in Prescott. Mr. McKamie was born July 29, 1933 in Hempstead County, Arkansas to Sam and Nettie Henshew McKamie. He was a loving father, grandfather, an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener, and a true friend that helped many and had a phrase he used call me if you need me. Mr. McKamie served in the US Air Force as a gunnery mechanic and was a retired shipping manager for Kroger. As a hunter he enjoyed his pet deer, Lucy, and his dog, Precious Ann. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patsy Glass McKamie, his brothers: Bill, JD Dub , Troy, Harlan, and Haskel McKamie; and sisters: Thelma Hulsey and Gladys Parker.
Furneral service will be 2:00pm Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott, Arkansas. Burial to follow in Water Creek Cemetery in Guernsey, Arkansas.
