Robert Leroy “Roy” Hartley, 41, passed away December 12, 2020.

Born on September 19, 1979, in Georgetown, he was a son of Robert S. Hartley and Carol Ann Cribb Ward. Mr. Hartley enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors.

Survivors include his mother and step father, Monroe Norris both of Dillon; his father and step mother, Theresa Hartley both of Conway; fiancé, Maybelle Collins of Dillon, one son, Nathan Hartley of Loris; one daughter, Madison Hartley of Loris; two step daughters, Alyssa Dean of Dillon and Kelsi Franklin of Hartsville; one sister, Peggy Gray of Georgetown; one brother, Jason Ward of Greenville; two aunts, Diane Hartley Wilson of Georgetown and Janice Whitnauer of Georgetown; one uncle, Dennis Cribb of Hemingway; and numerous nieces, nephews and special cousins.

He was preceded in death by two stepfathers, James Earl Bordeaux and Jay Gasway Ward; maternal grandparents, Thomas Ralph Cribb and Perline Singleton Cribb; and paternal grandparents, Samuel Leroy Hartley and Lucille Maxey Hartley.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
