A memorial service will be held at Country Club Rd. Church of Christ, 700 W. Country Club Rd., Roswell, New Mexico, on Friday, December 13, 2019, at 10:00 AM.
On May 15, 1933, Henry was born to Seledoño and Esperanza Zuniga in Sylvia, Kansas.
Upon graduating from high school, he attended college and obtained an Associate of Arts Degree.
Henry was a US Navy Veteran who proudly served his country. He married his soulmate and lifetime companion, Anita Zuniga, whom he married in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Henry was a member of the Church of Christ. Prior to retirement, he worked as a Police Officer for the RPD in Roswell. Henry's favorite pastime was reading and being very involved in volunteering in the elections with his party. His life was one of sacrifice and service to his wife, family, and others in need. Henry loved spending time with his beloved ones and friends. He will be greatly missed, and the memories Henry shared with his family and friends will forever remain in their hearts.
Preceding Henry in death were his son, Michael Zuniga; parents, Seledoño and Esperanza Zuniga; and his sisters: Dolores Garcia and Ramona Martinez.
Those left to cherish Henry's memory are his loving wife, Anita Zuniga; sons: Robert Zuniga and wife Rosie and Ruben Zuniga; grandson, Zachary Zuniga; brothers: Miguel Zuniga and wife Hope, Ernesto Zuniga, Richard Zuniga, and wife Debra; numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
The Zuniga family would like to give a special "Thanks" to Hospice and all of Henry's friends that came to see him during his illness.
