Barbara Stephens, 86, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
Barbara was born on November 6, 1934, in Horn Lake, Mississippi, to the late James A. Dollahite and Beatrice Dollahite. She married Daniel E. Boatright in 1950 and had two sons, Rickey and Gene. She later divorced and married Robert Stephens.
She graduated from nursing school and taught nursing until she retired in 2006. She enjoyed her sewing and quilt making. She loved spending time outside with her dog, Puggy, underneath the carport in her swing, drinking coffee and watching the sun come up.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stephens; sister, Juanita "Dolly" Stephens; and brothers, Albert "Buddy" Dollahite and James A. "Jimmy" Dollahite Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Rickey Boatright and his wife, Barbara, of Purdon, and Gene Boatright and his wife, Cindy, of Dawson; grandchildren, Rickey Boatright and his wife, Shannon, of Rice, TJ Boatright and his wife, Elizabeth, of Purdon, Butch Boatright and his wife, Kacee, of Dawson, Robert Boatright, of Rochester, MN., Mark Boatright, of Tacoma, Washington, Daniel Boatright and his wife, Misty, of Hubbard, and Chelsie Boatright, of Des Moines, Iowa; great-grandchildren, Josh, Ashely, Stephen, Aly, Chloe, Hunter, Brant, Brylea, Gabby, Cheyenne; many great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Mary Griggs, of Water Valley, MS, Martha Moore, of Memphis, TN, and Janice Dollahite, of Water Valley, MS.; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
