Cynthia accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. B.J. Jones. She was very active in Sunday school and church where she played the piano and the organ. She continued to learn and grow in the Lord and in school. When she was 16, she graduated from Idabel Gray High School in 1972 as Salutatorian of her class. After graduating from high school, she attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK where she earned her undergraduate degree. She later earned her Master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK. After completing her education, she taught in the Oklahoma City Public School System.
Later Cynthia met and married Alfred Jackson and to this union one daughter, Cymon, was born. Cynthia loved and cherished Cymon. She was a dedicated mother and wife. Cynthia was also a free spirit who loved all she came to know. She was a beautiful kind person who excelled in all the she did.
Cynthia’s mother and her father preceded her in death. She transitioned from earth to eternity on December 12, 2020.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Cymon and several cousins.
