Priscilla B. Barnes, 97, of Tahlequah, OK passed away on December 11, 2020. She was born on June 29, 1923 to Robert A. and Carrie K. Coan, in Everett, Massachusetts.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, James H. Barnes, Jr. and her parents.

Survivors include her 4 children: Candy Barnes Alfano of Siloam Springs, AR.; James H Barnes III and wife Barbara of Shoreview, MN; Paul A. Barnes and wife Nancy of Fernandina Beach, FL; Peter B. Barnes and wife Francine of Northbrook, IL. 12 grandchildren: Rebecca Wekesser of Denver, CO; James Barnes IV of Ponca City, OK; Mark Barnes of West Fork, AR; Robert Barnes of Northbrook, IL; Nicole Barnes of Grayslake, IL; Anna Alfano Rooney of Siloam Springs, AR; Adam Alfano of Hyattsville, MD; Joel Alfano of Fort Mill, SC; Ginger Pleuss of Denver, CO; Jarrett Drake of West Virginia: Colin Barnes of West Virginia; Nicholas Barnes of Fernandina Beach, FL and numerous great grandchildren.

Throughout her life Priscilla was involved in her church, Christian Women’s Club, and various activities of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was known for her great cooking, faithful praying, exceptional cleanliness, and unvarnished opinions. She and her husband lived in multiple states and homes in their 67 years of marriage.
