Linda Bush Malone, 71 of Ethelsville, AL passed away, Sunday, March 19, 2017, at her residence.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will be Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Ethelsville Baptist Church, Ethelsville, AL with Bro. Mel Howton officiating and Bro. Joel Lollar assisting. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Malone was born March 8, 1946 to the late Earlie and Mintie Chaffin Bush in Columbus, MS. She was a 1964 graduate of New Hope High School where she was a cheerleader and played basketball. Mrs. Malone owned Linda’s Realty where she was a Real Estate Broker for 33 years. Mrs. Malone was a member of Ethelsville Baptist Church, Ethelsville, AL. She enjoyed playing on the Senior League Basketball team. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Malone was preceded in death by her sister – Anita Goodman Patrick.
Mrs. Malone is survived by her husband – Danny Malone, Ethelsville, AL; daughter – Haley Malone (Justin) Kimbrough; sons – Frankie (Kay) Bolton, Pete (April) Floyd, Steve Malone; 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, nieces – Robin (Mike) Wesley and Ceil (Pete) Mattingly and special friend – Charles Bolton.
Pallbearers will be Richard Garmon, Justin Kimbrough, Jed Hickman, Cody Bolton, Bryer Bolton and Frankie Bolton. Honorary pallbearers will be David Moore, Mike Jolly, Richard Miller, Mike Brown, Jack Bobo and Larry Ellefson.
