She was born on February 4, 1938 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to parents Vincent and Elsie Schmidt.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, brother Paul Schmidt and loving husband Clifton Hall.
She is survived by daughters Cynthia Hall, Sharon Torres and husband Jimmy; Son of our heart Tommy West; Grandchildren Kristan Torres and boyfriend Michael Gossett, Ryan Torres and wife Courtney; Great-grandchildren Jillian Marosko, Gavin Marosko, Colter Torres, Brenham Torres and Ryker Torres.
Jane graduated from South Hills High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and enjoyed attending class reunions until travel was no longer possible for her. She worked most of her life doing office work for various companies.
Jane was a long-time member of First Baptist Church North Houston where she taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, sang in the choir and volunteered for many events at the church. In her later years, she transferred her church membership to Mims Baptist Church.
Jane loved her family and spending time with them was a priority for her. She was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s biggest fan and attended anything they were involved in; from school events to dance recitals to sports games.
She and her husband had several good friends and they enjoyed travelling with them often. They also bowled on a league with church friends for many years. Jane made several friends when she moved to a senior apartment complex after her husband passed away and enjoyed their companionship.
