Billy D. Gilmore, age 91, of Panama City, FL, passed away on December 17, 2020. He was born to Dale and Pauline Gilmore on June 16, 1929 in Tulsa, OK.

He will be remembered for being a loving devoted husband, Daddy, Papa, and great-Papa. Billy served in the US Air Force for 26 years. He was a black belt in Taekwondo, a devoted college football fan (really every and ALL sports), and an Oklahoma state wrestling champ. Most importantly, Billy was a devout Christian and lifetime member of Jenks Avenue Church of Christ, where he served Christ’s congregation in a multitude of roles, such as deacon, brother, bible teacher, Super Stars to Senior Saints, and servant of our Lord.

Billy is predeceased by his loving wife, parents, and son-in-law Roger TwoCrow. He is survived by his children Laura Gilmore, Linda TwoCrow, Jeff and Laurie Gilmore, Julie and Radly Opeka, his grandchildren Brad Wise, Billy Creech, Brittani and Summer Haag, Dylan and Kayla Opeka, Kylie Opeka, and numerous great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service to honor the life of Brother Billy will be held on December 21st at 2:00 PM at Jenks Avenue Church of Christ, 3332 Jenks Ave. Panama City, FL 32405. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the Service. ***COVID 19 precautions remain in effect for this service (masks are mandatory, social distancing is required, and no individuals with suspected COVID 19 or any active current illness should attend).
