Lana Carol Foster, age 69, of Erwin, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Johnson City Medical Center.

A native of Erwin, Lana is a daughter of Margaret Lorena (Masters) Wilson and the late Joseph Washington Wilson.

She was a member of Coffee Ridge Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and taught Vacation Bible School classes. She loved going to see movies and cherished vacations and times with family and friends.

In addition to her father, Lana is preceded in death by her husband, of 45 years, Calvin Douglas Foster.

In addition to her mother, Lana Carol Foster has left behind to cherish her memory:
Daughters: Camille Foster,
Melanie Rose and husband, Thomas;
Grandchildren: Taylor Rose,
Trenton Rose,
Timmy Rose;
Brothers: Terry Wilson and wife, Connie,
Nathan Wilson and wife, Theresa;
Several nieces and nephews.

There will be a private funeral and committal service to offer tribute and remember the life of Lana Carol Foster. Lana will lie in state from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Monday, December 21, 2020 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19 and for the health and safety of the family and guests, the family will not be present during this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations be made to Coffee Ridge Baptist Church, 905 Coffee Ridge Rd., Erwin, TN 37650.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and in accordance with the Unicoi County Mask mandate, we respectfully request that anyone attending services please wear a mask or face covering at all times and observe all social distancing guidelines.
