Frances E. Gray, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home in Port Edwards.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Burial will follow at South Burr Oak Cemetery in Richfield, Wisconsin. A time of visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Herman-Taylor Funeral is honored to be assisting the Gray family.
Frances was born August 15, 1942 in Beloit, WI to Theodore and Hilda (Hansen) Phillips.
She was united in marriage to Darrell Gray on August 17, 1970. They were blessed with 37 years of marriage and one son: Charles.
In her working years, Frances had a number of different jobs but her favorite was being a mother and grandmother to both family and friends.
Christmas was her favorite time of the year. She kept her tree up all year, decorating it for the seasons. She enjoyed crafting, Casino trips, baking, her beloved grandchildren, and her cherished dogs.
Frances is survived by her son, Charles (Lisa) Gray; six grandchildren: Rebecca and Braeden Gray; Ayden, Gabriel, Emma and Lydia Tamminga; great-granddaughter: Layla Gray; one brother: Cliff Phillips; niece, Patricia Trevean; great nephew: Michael (Amanda) Hale; great great niece, Anarchy Hale; and great great nephew, Christian Hale. She was predeceased by her husband; parents; sisters: Patricia Phillips and Margaret Hale; brother Charles Phillips; and sister-in-law Gladys Phillips.
