He was born December 18, 1933 in Edgecombe County, NC to the late Mack Baker and Annie Mercer Baker.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons; Calvin Baker, Jr., Anthony T. Baker both of Tarboro, NC, two daughters; Carolyn Prichette of Philadelphia, PA, Yvonne Jones of Princeville, NC, three brothers; Reverend Albert Baker of Wilson, NC, Johnny M. Baker of New York, NY, Melvin Baker of Princeville, NC, three sisters; Dorothy Lancaster of Rocky Mount, NC, Annie Brown of New Jersey, Mary Alice Taylor of Rocky Mount, NC, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren five great-great grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
A Walk-through Viewing will be held Friday, November 20, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Hemby Willoughby.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens with Words of Comfort by Reverend Albert Baker.
