Kenneth D. Gray, 90, of New London, died Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at his home.
He was born October 28, 1930 in Carroll, Iowa, the son of Myron Ellsworth and Annabel Lee Sailor Gray. On April 12, 1953 he married Darlyne Humiston in Burlington. He was a 1948 graduate of Burlington High School and a 1950 graduate of Burlington Junior College. Living in Burbank and Colorado Springs, he was an aerospace master scheduler and programmer for Lockheed-Martin/
Ford Aerospace, retiring in July 1994. He served as a radio man in the Iowa National Guard in Burlington. Ken was very active in the New London Christian Church where he sang in the choir and conducted Bible studies. He also sang with a Barbershop Quartet and directed the Martin and Companies Band while in Baltimore, Maryland. He was a man of many talents who enjoyed tinkering outside, sky warning weather watcher, camping, operating a HAM radio, and traveling south to their winter home in Florida. He adored his family, especially when his grandchildren and great-grandchildren came for a visit.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Rosemary Carol Gray.
