Ralph Fulton Freeman, age 88, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020.
A Visitation for family and friends of Ralph’s will be Sunday, October 25, 2020, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907.
A Graveside Celebration of Ralph's life will occur Monday, October 26, 2020, at 11:00 AM in Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907.
Ralph was born June 17, 1932, in Atlanta, Georgia to Dorothy Buchannan Freeman and Iris Fulton Freeman. He grew up in the Atlanta area where he joined the Army and served his country proudly. Ralph loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved his family, people in general, and was an Elder in the Presbyterian Church, and a member of The American Legion. Ralph was a diehard Auburn Fan and Jokester that loved making others laugh. He enjoyed teasing and playing with Brown Dog, his K9 companion. He was a good man that taught his family how to love. All who knew him will miss him dearly.
Ralph’s Son Jay Freeman; father Iris Fulton Freeman and mother Dorothy Buchannan Freeman, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Sheryl Joanne Freeman; sons Pete and Joe Freeman; daughter Brandi Conner; brothers Mike and Neal Freeman; grandchildren Hayle Whidden, Ian Freeman, Adam Freeman, Ryan Freeman, Kelly Freeman, Emily Freeman, Addisyn Conner, Brayleigh Conner, and Zachery Jackson; nieces; nephews; other family members and many friends to cherish his memory.
