Robert William “Bill” Adkins, age 90, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at his residence. He was born August 14, 1930 in Cincinnati to the late Oren E. and Ruth (nee Connelly) Adkins.

Bill served in the U.S. Navy Reserves and retired from AT&T as an electrical engineer. He graduated from Purcell High School and was recognized as an All-City Quarterback and Pitcher. Most of all, Bill will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, and grandfather with a quiet and patient nature.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Ann M. “Anna Mae” (nee Conlon) Adkins, and sister, Marilyn (Roger) Lindemann. He is survived by his children, Ron (Joyce) Adkins, Tom (Vera) Adkins, Barb (Joel) Anderson, Bob (Pam) Adkins, Marty (Sherry) Adkins, Ken (Laurie) Adkins, Donna (Steve) Kyler and Terri (Greg) Reddish; 26 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 10-11 am, Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 noon at St. Saviour Parish, 4136 Myrtle Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45236 with Bishop Joe Binzer as celebrant. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven.
