Beloved husband of Sandra Boswell Ballard, father of Ray Jr and Tina. Ray passed away with his loving wife by his side on Thursday, Dec 17th, 2020 after a period of declining health. Ray was a kind and gentle soul with a warm smile and a big heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Nina Ballard, sister Nina Mae Ballard and brothers Arthur Wayne and Terry Otis Ballard all of Plant City, Fl. Ray is survived by his wife Sandra Ballard of the home, daughter Tina Marie Polk and son Ray Lamar Ballard Jr of Murphy NC, brother Jerry Ballard of Dover, Fl, as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Ivie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
