Diane Fairburn Moore memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Kokomo Baptist Church for Diane Fairburn Moore, 60, of Tylertown, who passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at her residence. From a young age Diane has always had a love for music. She spent her days singing and worshiping her Lord Jesus Christ. She served as Minister of Music at Kokomo Baptist Church for 11 years. In high school Diane always enjoyed the outdoors. She was involved in several activities which included Cheerleading, Basketball, and Softball. Her love for softball was unquestionable as she passed her love for the game on to her children Andy and Danielle. She always said God gave me the years between Andy and Danielle because when Andy stopped ball, Danielle started. She loved her family more than anything, she was loving and devoted wife of 37 years, to her husband Billy Moore. With him working off, it gave her an opportunity to travel with her children to spend quality time together. Any time you asked her to do something she was willing to help. In her last days, she drew and gave peace through her faith, as she sang it is well with my soul. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Moore; parents, Arnold and Shirley Fairburn; grandparents; Joe and Bertha Fairburn, and Arlis and Emma Williamson; and one brother, Duane Fairburn.
She is survived by her son, Andy Moore (Marie) of Tylertown; daughter, Danielle Moore of Tylertown; Dorothy Jones (Rick) of Tylertown; brother, Dennie Fairburn (Beverly) of Tylertown; grandchildren, Libby Moore, Aiden Graves, and Autumn Graves all of Tylertown; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kokomo Baptist ChurchHathorn Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of the arrangements.
