Parents: Reginald Walter Brock (son of the Reverend Thomas Brock, a Methodist minister, and Marian Jenkins) b. 10 Jan 1874 Perth, Ontario Perth, Ontario d. 30 Jul 1935 Alta Lake BC m. 28 Nov 1900 Mildred Gertrude Britton (mother Mary Eliza HOLTON) b. 19 Feb 1879 Kingston Ontario d. 31 Jul 1935 Horseshoe Bay, after injuries sustained at Alta Lake BC.
Both died as a result of a plane crash. Their sudden deaths following an airplane crash on 30 July 1935 near their summer home at Alta Lake (he was killed instantly; she died the next day en route to a hospital) made front-page news for three days. Crowds filled the streets for their funeral procession.
They had 5 sons.
