David Alan "Arkansaw" Spears, age 55, of Amity, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018. He was born on September 7, 1963 in Hot Springs, the son of Charles Junior Spears and Donna McNeese Spears.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Scott "PeeWee" Bowser.

A logger, he enjoyed watching the Razorbacks and playing with his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting and belonged to the A1 Deer Camp.

He is survived by two children, Tiffany Spears and Journey Spears, both of Amity; two grandchildren, Aiden Fenter and Kavence Fenter, and one granddaughter on the way; his parents, Charles and Donna Spears; three brothers, Donnie Bowser, Charliehorse Spears and Tracy Allen Spears; his sister, Brenda Doss, all of Amity; and his nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with cremation to follow.
