Barbara Elizabeth Cunningham, 82 years old of Grayslake, IL formerly of Antioch, IL passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2020. She was born to the late Raymond and Evelyn (Boston) Collis on November 21, 1937 in Evanston, IL. On August 25, 1973, Barbara married her husband, Edward Cunningham in Lake County, IL and he preceded her in death on December 5, 2017.
Survivors include: daughters, Teresa Novak, Antoinette Thayer, and Shannon (Keith) Stolarick; grandchildren, Katherine, Kristina, Evelyn, Prudence, and Edward; great-grandchildren, Gavin and Hayden; brothers, Raymond (Elaine) Collis and Ronald (Jill) Loll. Along with her parents and husband, Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Swiderski.
A memorial visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2020 with a service commencing at 6:00 p.m. at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch, IL . In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Research Hospital, 5501 N Cumberland Ave #101, Chicago, IL 60656.
