Born August 13, 1941, in Rainelle, he was the son of the late Carl and Elsie Carr Cook.
Jerry proudly served in the U.S. Marines. He founded the Gold Star Marine Chapter in Princeton. Many would remember Jerry in the construction world, having owned Mountaineer Log Homes. Jerry was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt and fish. He was a member of Sewell Valley Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved son, Carl Bryan Cook. Survivors include his devoted wife of, one week short, 58 years, Donna Vance Cook; his loving daughter Ruth Lucas and husband Jerry of Shelbyville, Kentucky; two grandsons J.R. and Joseph Lucas.
