Randall Scott Evans, age 66, passed away on Sunday November 5, 2017 at MeSun Hospice Center, after a brief illness.

He was the husband of Leslie Carbaugh Evans. They shared 28+ years of marriage together. Born in Enterprise, Alabama, he was the son of the late Preston and Winona Evans. He graduated from Avondale High School and from Georgia Tech with a degree in Engineering. He grew up in Stone Mountain, GA. Randy was employed for 23 years at Amerisafe, Inc. where he worked as a Safety Professional.

He was an avid tennis player since high school, as well as golf. And he cherished all of his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Leslie, daughters; Michelle Angel (Danny), Lori Gariepy (Mark), 5 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, brother; Ken Evans and sister-in-law Terri Evans along with many nieces and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 12, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Eternal Hills Funeral Home in Snellville, GA.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please make donation to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

A celebration of life will be held at the family’s home at 1921 Flowering Drive, Grayson, GA 30017 following the service.
