Elizabeth was an active member of Jackson Street Church of Christ where she taught the 3-4 year olds for 20 years. She would spend numerous hours each week on crafts in preparation for each Sunday’s lesson, even continuing to make the crafts for years after she retired from teaching. Elizabeth loved Jesus, her church and singing hymns. She also enjoyed preparing food for the homeless and extending a warm welcome to Southern Arkansas University students who were from out of town. One of her favorite times was going to feed the burrow at SAU.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Earl Robinson, her parents, brothers Gene Brown and Howard Brown, and sister Brenda Brock. She is survived by her son Todd (Stephanie) Robinson of Magnolia, grandchildren Bradlee (Casey) Robinson of Hartford, Arkansas, and Janessa (Dakota) Shearman of Fort Polk, Louisiana, two great grandchildren Kaden and Karson Robinson, brother Clyde Brown of Gilmer, Texas, sister Marie (Robbie) Linn of Little Rock, Arkansas, and as well a host of nieces, nephews, many relatives, special friends and neighbors.
The family is thankful for the care Elizabeth received from the staffs at Wentworth Place and Encompass Health-Hospice of Magnolia.
A graveside burial at Magnolia City Cemetery will be Friday, December 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM p.m., under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 420 North Jackson Street, Magnolia, Arkansas. Officiating will be Pastor Brian Mickey.
