Carol J. Murphy, 69, of Sparland, died on December 15, 2020 at her home. Born in Springfield Illinois on September 4, 1951 to the late John and Margaret (Brammel) Diehl, she married David Murphy on June 30, 1972 in Sparland, he survives.
Carol is also survived by her daughter Heather Murphy of Chillicothe, son Shawn Murphy of Sparland, and brother Robert (Ruth) Diehl of Wisconsin.
Carol held many jobs in her life including a retail clerk at the Ben Franklin in Chillicothe to the receptionist for M & D Printing for over 10 years. She also had a love for quilting.
