Mr Tom had a great sense of humour. He told great jokes like "How does the Grizly Bear sleep six moth's ?
Who is gonna wake him.?"

On another occasion we were down Ocean City. He
said Roll on Mighty Ocean.

He turned to my mother and said
"They listen to me"
He had given up on football because so many of the men where making so much money and getting in trouble he called it "The national felony Leauge

He was also quite fond of
Alan Sherman.

Alan Sherman was quite good with
parody ie taking a song
and using a different melody.

One of Mr. Sherman's best
parodys was "The Balad of Harry Lewis".
In this song Alan Sherman sings about
a garmet worker and sets it too the
tune of "The Battle Hymn of the
Republic."

One day Mr Tom and I were comming out of Church.
The Battle Hymn of the Republic was the closing song.

I know his son needs to be in the rooms of AA
We both laughed.
