Mrs. Janet Carol Clark Ramsey, age 81, of Richmond, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at her home.
Mrs. Ramsey, the daughter of the late Asa and Edith Hull Clark, was born in Bourbon County on January 7, 1939. She was a homemaker who loved caring for and praying for her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid Dwight Yokum fan, loved playing cards, going to casinos and watching football games. She was a member of Union City Baptist Church.
On December 19, 1958, Mrs. Ramsey united to Ralph Ramsey and enjoyed 61 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, survivors also include: one son and daughter-in-law: Robert C. and Linda Ramsey of Lexington; her daughter and son-in-law: Crystal and Dean Hood of Murray; one brother and sister-in-law: Paul and Shirley Clark; one sister and brother-in-law: Anna and David McGuire; five grandchildren: Matthew Ramsey, Trey Hood, Jada Hood, Cori Hood and Daven Hood and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Ramsey was also preceded in death by one brother: David Clark.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home with Dr. Virgil Grant officiating.
Burial will be in the Madison County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Trey Hood, Matthew Ramsey, Dean Hood, Dave Woosley, Shannon Clark and Daven Hood.
Due to current government restrictions, masks and social distancing are required.
