Jerry George Welch, 68, of Grayson Court, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at his residence.
Born April 4, 1952 in Anderson, he was the son of the late Thomas “Jerry” Welch and Nancy Elizabeth White Welch. Jerry was a retired welder with many years of service at Foundry and Steel and member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Debra Wilbanks Welch of the home; two daughters, Amanda Welch Feltman of Anderson and Catherine Welch Bowman (Wilton) of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Gracie and Olivia Feltman and Mackenzie and Elijah Bowman; niece, Julianne Brown; nephew, Nikki Brown and several half brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lauren Feltman and sister, Mary Ann Brown.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm Friday (Dec. 18) at Old Silver Brook Cemetery with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating.
