Wenona Marie Weaverling, 83 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 in a Tulsa hospital. She was born August 13, 1937 in Hulbert, Oklahoma to her parents, Willie B. Adams and Welcome Fyetta Talcott Adams. On January 19, 1957, she married to George "Bill" McCreary. After 13 years that marriage ended and on March 13, 1973 she married Frank Weaverling. They were together over 30 years before his passing in 2003.
Wenona is survived by her four daughters, Tamara L. Horne of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Angela D. A. Chisum and her husband Tony of Bristow, Oklahoma, Norma Kaiser and her husband Bill of Haskell, Oklahoma and Kellie Rice and her husband John of Coweta, Oklahoma; fourteen grandchildren, Joshua Horne, Jerrolynn Horne, Rosella Crawford, James Stanfill, Martina Stanfill, Heather Varela, Michael "Gabe" Varela, Theodore "TJ" Varela, Cory Kaiser, Cameron Kaiser, Chelsea Kaiser, Ericka Taylor Gouger, Brittanie Nichole Evans and Justine Weaverling; twenty-one great-grandchildren and a host of friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Welcome Adams; her loving husband, Frank Weaverling; her daughter, Georgia Stanfill and her six siblings.
Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Floral Haven's Funeral Home Chapel.
