Paul Koster immigrated from Germany to the U.S. in 1885 where he resided in Erie CO. Buffalo , NY. He became a citizen & was naturalized as of 1892. He served in the Spanish American War of 1898. The following year he married Margaret Mulde. Together they had , Six Children : Dolores Koster " Daumen " , Raymond Koster , Madeline Koster , Edward Koster , Albert Koster & Margaret Koster " Kaz ". He had spent the remaining entirety of his life in Buffalo until his death in 1960.
