There is no grave site found for him or his wife Margaret [Alsept] Patrick.
William is the third child of Eli Risner and PollyFletcher.

He and his second wife, Elizabeth Walters Risner, are buried in the Walter Cemetery on Cow Creek, Magoffin County, Ky.

He first married Margaret "Peggy" Alsept. William and Margaret separated in 1866 and divorced in 1867 (a rarity in those days).

He married Elizabeth "Lizzie" Walters on 12-13-1871. She was the daughter of Felix and Nancy Walters (they lived in Morgan County, KY).

According to his descendants, he served in the Confederate Army and deserted while he was fighting in West Virginia.
